Cyma was one of 12 watchmakers nicknamed the "dirty dozen" because they successfully submitted watches to the British Ministry of Defense that met the criteria required for a wartime timepiece in the early 1940s. Instead of standard chrome cases, Cyma chose Stainless Steel. Rather than the usual 32-34mm size, Cyma decided to go big 38mm. As a result, we have a wonderful wartime WWW Dirty Dozen in a perfectly wearable size and an amazing piece of history.
